#3 : some new clothes would be cool too

seeing that 06 would be my last year of freedom for some time, i'd better make the most of it..make more friends, do more crazy things & have more fun. and ima PAINT THE TOWN RED BABY!! now someone hand me a tin of nippon all-in-one non-bacterial odourless crackproof soundproof waterproof fireproof pest-free wrinkle-free indestructible paint

i was gonna take the time to write my roundup like a lil letter
but then i thought a poem would probably be a little better
than a letter, cos its cute, like an irish setter

but then i thought screw it its the holidays i don't wanna use my brain
only on jan 3 that day i'll use it, till then i'll abstain
dammit why am i still rhyming this aint supposed to happen
i'm glad i can stop now cos nothing rhymes with happen (:

i've been suckered into doing some cip tomorrow. 7.30 at bishand. DAMN THAT SUCKS haha. i know i went to bishan everyday for 4 years but i still havent grown fond of the place. oh well i guess i need to do some cip. everyone else has like double digits in cip hours and all i have is a big fat yeah you-guessed-it zero. i've done so much for society, i've patronised shops thus pumping money into the retail industry thus keeping singapore's economy running. sadly that is not recognised and officially i've been a total selfish jerk by not doing any cip. its not for lack of trying. okay may be it is..y'all know how lazy i am haha. oh well hope tmr will be a smash. CIP on NYE..goodie

yeah towning..that's a new word folks, and its my fav word. my pasttime of choice is now officially 'towning' haha. i've seen pretty much of it recently (as usual :) its been crowded and i think it's gonna stay that way... read off cerise's blog that cny is in like 4 weeks. that's so soon! but that's GOOD haha. looks like the festive joy won't evaporate that fast.

okay there are only 2 days left to the year. TWO FREAKING DAYS. damn this year has passed by so quick. its cliched but ima say it anyway. it seemed like yesterday when i was up awake feeling excited about going for the first day of sch at jc. all the new people to meet, all the new stuff to do. so much has gone by, so quickly has time flown by. ack i hate being all philosophical like this..let me recover from my towning and i'll check in to blogland again with the usual boring S#!+ haha

merry christmas to one and all... now here's my usual trivial, mundane and anecdotal account of my festive activities.

decided not to bore everyone with the boring details. here are the more interesting happenings:

absolut mixed with sprite is cool and cleverly hard to detect. to the naked eye its just sprite, to the tongue - its burning delight

entering abandoned colonial houses at midnight may seem interesting but once you enter the door and face the dark, you will yell f*** and run like you seen a shark

oh and to end it off, presents are DAMN NICE to receive. whoever said it is better to give than to receive probably didn't receive many presents haha

hopping around lugging bags of stuff around is nice in a way cos you get NEW STUFF. but its also not nice when your arms are turning to stone, your shoulders feel like they wanna crumble and your feet ache horribly when though you're wearing obscenely expensive footwear. note to self: don't wear sneakers when anticipating long treks all over town. there comes a time when you need to sacrifice form for function.

its been a slow day...

the rain today ensured that my plans to go out were washed out - literally. there's no way i'm going out into a downpour. i could potentially be risking life and limb, not to mention destroying sneakers and clothes.

but since i didnt go out i had plenty of time to do work. ugh. not nice. okay i was bored so i wondered what i'd be like if i was as on for homework and mugging as i am for going out and buying stuff. a typical entry would look like this:

damn it i only did 3.142 hours of work today..didn't even hit 3 1/2 hrs. i can't believe how much i'm lagging. didn't feel like triple-checking my work today..only did it twice. can you belive how sloppy i've become?! what if my average mark drops below 95%? ARGHHHH!!!! How would i be able to get a scholarship with such lousy grades? oh yeah and i hate it how other people are always complaining that there is so much work to do and so little time. Are they nuts? I feel there is too LITTLE work given. I for one finished everything in the first week of school. I even did all the extra stuff, went online and downloaded all the solutions and looked through them. I even spotted some errors. There are 24 hours a day, how can you say that there isnt time to do work? Just sleep the bare minimum and you can be clocking lots of time at the study desk..like the other day i did the whole ten-year-ser... ...

Damn. that life would suck. i really pity those people who have no life whose sole purpose in life is to hit the books all the time. hope they wake up and smell the roses

some stuff i'm dreaming about..

chilling with family and friends this xmas weekend, catching up, telling stories and having fun. i only get to catch up with some of em a few times a year, which ain't enough. therefore the next few days are gonna be as enjoyable as i can make them. wish i could stop the clock now. this moment in time, the week before christmas, just rocks. cos when the fun starts, its gonna pass by real quick and before you know it..clapbangkiss its over. reminds me of the just for laughs spot where everyone leaves the theatre and the green monster fella yells 'MOMMY ITS OVER!!"

oh yeah this is my absolutely top best greatest no 1 song for the moment. ever had an 'only one'? well even if you havent, just give it a listen

i got this retro germany jacket which is oh so cool..perfect thing to wear seeing that the world cup is coming round the corner next year. its also something good to have with the cold weather now. don't ya just love the holiday season? it gives ya a warm and fuzzy right? actually it might be cos i'm wearing the jacket...but anyways you know what i mean right. looking forward to presents, sharing joy with family and friends..receiving presents..singing songs of love and hope...opening presents. alright enough with the unapologetic and obvious materialism. gotta tone it down a little haha

okay i did something today that i havent done for ages..i bought a book! actually i didn't really buy it..i don't think i've ever forked out money on my own for books. the closest i've gone was to cop some football/car/music magazines. anyway, i digress. browsing for a book to get wasn't easy. with great unwillingness i tore myself from the magazine rack in pursuit of more fulfilling reading material. i basically looked at everything. tom clancy splinter cell? nah i'd rather play the game. the life of Mao? nah i'm no communist. chick lit? hell no. i had a $20 voucher to use and i wanted to use it wisely. eventually i settled on 3 copies of FHM and a candy bar ... ... yeah right. actually i got this book on murphy's law which goes that whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. i type more when i actually read the book haha

its strange but for the past few days i've been living on a diet of rock music haha. its strange cos i'm normally found plugged into hiphop 24/7 but now i'm craving for guitar riffs, drum solos and the clashing strong wall of noise effect that only good rock can give ya haha. its come to the point when a hiphop track comes onto my now playing list, i'll skip it. weird right? hardcore hiphop junkie turns rock haha. here's what i'm currently bumping:
